Andrei Ostanin is a Moscow lawyer with over 20 years of experience. After graduating from the State University Kyrgyz Republic of the Soviet Union Andrei went to Austria to attend the Banking Legislation Course. After Andrei joined the legal department of the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan, he participated in a World Bank project on banking law reform. Andrei was also seconded to the law firm Clifford Chance (London, UK) where he participated in drafting acts for the Kyrgyz Republic. When Andrei joined the law firm LegExp, he took part in a number of major international projects in the Kyrgyz Republic, including the ADB, project on drafting the “Bankruptcy Act”.

In 2004, Andrei was admitted to the Bar of the Moscow Region (Russia) and started practicing in the following areas: civil litigation, damages, family law (divorce, family property, custody), property law, estate law, real estate, intellectual property, including trademarks and domains, defamation, contract law, arbitration, media law, and business law. Andrei’s professional achievements include, inter alia, the representation of one of the major Russian publishing holdings in the domain dispute (WIPO, Switzerland), large construction companies, foreign manufacturers and many others.
